Welcome to Travis Heights! This quiet, historic neighborhood located just south of Town Lake provides visitors with a genuine South Austin experience.

Compact and curated for Austin visitors, The guest house features 1 bedroom with a king bed, a vanity bathroom, and a walk-in shower. The colorful kitchen comes complete with everything you need to prepare meals and entertain for two. Guests can lounge on the cozy living room sofa with accompanying leather ottomans or on the covered patio. The house also has a desk for folks needing to work remotely.

Coffee and essentials are complimentary. Our bath and body products are made by Public Goods and our linens are high thread count, 100% cotton.

Off-street parking is reserved for 1 vehicle.

NOTE: We follow the CDC and Airbnb Recommended Cleaning Guidelines. You can rest assured this property has been completely sanitized prior to check-in.

Transit

You can access downtown by foot, Rainey Street via the Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk and South Congress by strolling the neighborhood streets.

Prior to check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. Pack n Plays or High Chairs must be requested prior to arrival.

The driveway is shared with the homeowners so please be respectful and only use the dedicated parking space for guests. Parking enough for 1 car in the driveway, and curbside parking in front of the house.

This is a quiet neighborhood.

HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%.
YOU ARE HELPING: A portion of the city hotel tax helps support Austin’s musicians and related businesses.

We do not collect a security deposit. As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely . com damage protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees are listed as a ‘management fee’ in the detailed breakdown of your reservation costs. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date.

Access

Our guests have a private entrance with dedicated off-street parking. The gate to enter the property has the address and unit number written on it.

Stay Local Austin offers self-check-in. Guests will have access via an electronic smart lock. Your guest ambassador will send you the access code a few days before your scheduled arrival.

Stay Local Austin is your host during your stay and will be there to answer any questions you may have about the home or the surrounding area.

House Rules

**VERY IMPORTANT – All Guests must comply with our house rules. Not doing so may require additional charges or possible eviction. In short, we expect all guests to behave respectfully and responsibly when staying in our home.

Maximum Overnight Occupancy is 2 people. Please make sure you enter the proper number of guests that will be staying in the home when booking.

To ensure your safety and proper access to the home and all of our guest features, please read the house manual upon arrival, and where needed, notify Stay Local Austin with any questions.

We love our neighbors! Quiet hours are from 9 PM – 8 AM daily. No outside noise after 10:00 PM.

No Smoking.

Guest Pets are not allowed as the owners are very allergic to pet dander. If you have a service dog, please be respectful and select an alternate property that welcomes pets.

Except for families with children, ALL guests must be at least 25 years of age with photo ID proof of age for each guest. Please upload your identification in the Guest Check-In form that will be sent from Stay Local Austin immediately after booking.

Third-Party Bookings should inquire first. Please contact the host if you plan to book for others and gain approval from Stay Local Austin before confirming the reservation.

Parties or events with non-overnight guests are strictly prohibited.

Guests are expected to follow ALL check-out instructions (including notifying the host at the time of departure) as listed in the Guest Manual and checkout email correspondence.

Known damages incurred during your stay (Stains and spills on linens, furniture, rugs) must be reported to the property manager immediately.

Only artificial candles are allowed. No burning of natural candles inside or outside of the home.

Closets and cabinets labeled as “Owner Use Only” are off-limits to guests. Please be respectful and never take items from these areas.
