The main level offers a large living room, formal dining room for 6, and a spacious kitchen equipped with bar seating for 4, stainless steel appliances, and all the kitchen equipment needed to prepare cuisines from around the world. Just off the dining room/kitchen is the 700 sqft screened-in porch with living room furniture and 2nd dining area for 12+ people.

The porch steps out to a large, private fenced-in backyard and large, refreshing pool, surrounded by a limestone patio. This beautiful space functions as your own personal retreat that can be enjoyed year-round. Chefs can also cook on an outdoor propane grill, while guests relax around the wood-burning fire pit and comfortable pool lounge chairs. The main level also offers 3 Queen bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, one with a combination shower/tub and the other with a walk-in shower.

Walk upstairs to find the Master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, dual vanities, and a large walk-in shower. The flex room is also upstairs and can be used as a dedicated workspace or exercise room. Here you will find a wireless printer, a Peloton, free weights, and a yoga mat.

Guest needing an EV charger are welcome to use the Tesla charger located in the garage. A Tesla adaptor is required.

In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect a few additional fees from you before guaranteeing this reservation. Please see below and reply here with any questions. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

Trust & Safety Fee:

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely.com to provide you with $1,500 of accidental coverage in place of a security deposit. A portion of the cost for this protection was included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay. The Safely fee for nights over 30 days is $200, $50 of which was already collected. Please be on the lookout for a payment request or resolution request for the balance of $150 and ensure the balance gets paid and guarantee your reservation.

NOTE: The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date.

Additional Cleaning Fee:

We do require additional cleaning fees for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning.

Transit

Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ridesharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere. The airport is just 15 minutes away.

City Bus Stop is one block over and the City Metro at Manor Station – (Mueller area) offers a quick ride North to the Domain and Soccer Stadium.

Parking enough for 2 cars in the driveway, and plenty of curbside parking in front of the house.

HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%.
YOU ARE HELPING: A portion of the city hotel tax helps support Austin’s musicians and related businesses.

Neighborhood

Close to downtown and the University of Texas, this neighborhood is home to cool coffee shops, hip eateries, and adorable bungalows. Developed during the 1940s and 1950s post-war housing boom, Cherrywood is one of East Austin’s most unique neighborhoods.

From the property, you can venture any direction and land in some of Austin’s favorite venues including the Austin landmark Cherrywood Coffee House. Head South to Manor Road for Salty Sow, Haymaker, Dai Due, Bird Bird Biscuit, and Hoovers Southern Comfort Food. Or head to Mueller for Loca Dora, Halcyon, BD Riley’s Irish Pub, and Lick Honest Ice Creams.

Naturalists and outdoor lovers will appreciate the many green spaces nearby including Patterson Park and Pool, Cherrywood Green, and Willowbrook Reach

Access

Stay Local Austin Guests offers self-check-in. Guest will have access via an electronic smart lock. Your access code will be shared a few days before check-in. If you have any trouble getting inside the home, your Guest Ambassadors are standing by to assist. Please send a message through your reservation channel or contact your property manager for help.

House Rules

**VERY IMPORTANT – All Guests must comply with our house rules. Not doing so may require additional charges or possible eviction. In short, we expect all guests to behave respectfully and responsibly when staying in our home.

Maximum Overnight Occupancy is 8 people. Please make sure you enter the proper number of guests that will be staying in the home when booking.
EXCEPTION: For families with small children, we can host up to 4 kids in addition to 8 adults for an additional fee. Please inquire if you are interested in this option to discuss sleeping arrangements and gain owner approval before booking.

To ensure your safety and proper access to the home and all of our guest features, ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival, and where needed, to notify Stay Local Austin with any questions.

We love our neighbors! Quiet hours are from 9 PM – 8 AM daily. No outside noise after 10:00 PM.

No Smoking.

Guest Pets are not allowed as the owners are very allergic to pet dander. If you have a service dog, please be respectful and select an alternate property that welcomes pets.

Except for families with children, ALL guests must be at least 25 years of age with photo ID proof of age for each guest. Please upload your identification in the Guest Check-In form that will be sent from Stay Local Austin immediately after booking.

Third-Party Bookings should inquire first. Please contact the host if you plan to book for others and gain approval from Stay Local Austin before confirming your reservation.

No Parties. Small Gatherings and events with non-overnight guests require pre-approval, deposit, and additional contract.

Guests are expected to follow ALL check-out instructions (including notifying the host at the time of departure) as listed in the House Manual and checkout email correspondence.

Known damages incurred during your stay (Stains and spills on linens, furniture, rugs) must be reported to the property manager immediately.

Only artificial candles are allowed. No burning of natural candles inside or outside of the home.

Closets and cabinets labeled as “Owner Use Only” are off-limits to guests. Please be respectful and never take items from these areas.

No glitter, confetti, or tape on the wall or surrounding structures, please. Guest leaving evidence of these pesky little particles will be charged an additional cleaning fee and repair fees where applicable.

We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts in advance. If the house happens to be ready earlier than our standard 4pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, I will message you and let you know once it’s ready. Late checkouts are almost never possible. On the rare occasion that it is possible to check in early or checkout late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one-hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check-in or late checkout is great, your best option is to book the night prior to or after your arrival/departure.
